'Unseasonably Warm' Sounds Like a Good Day to Me

Spring is my favorite time of year because it's a prelude to Summer, the awesomest and most magnificent time of the year. Because I enjoy warm, sunny weather so much, it's ironic that I choose to live in Seattle where Summer barely raises its sleepy head before the leaves turn color again and the gloomy expanse of grey days and rain returns. March begins a 4 month long promise that one day soon we'll be able to briefly store our fleece and expose our vitamin D deprived flesh to delicious rays of revitalizing sunshine. Already plump buds have begun to reveal themselves, and soon our streets will be lined with a parade of cherry blossoms and early blooms. It will still be rainy, and it will still be chilly, but it will sure be pretty.

An unseasonably bright & warm day. Seattle from the Kerry Park viewpoint on Queen Anne.
